Hello,
I am interested in a simple text formatting program, something which is a
primitive form of nroff. The input is a plain text file with special
formatting instructions which govern the format of the lines following the
command. The most primitive set of commands might be something like
.lp (for left justified paragraphs)
.tt (to indicate that the following text is to be unaltered "typed text")
The program would read the input file and produce an output file with
paragraphs formatted according to the embedded commands.
Does anyone know of such a program or Icon script which accomplishes this?
Thanks.
